The old ways are broken; it is time for Plan B
In operations since 1865, the Shapoorji Pallonji Group of Companies has grown to become a large and effective business conglomerate. Over time, it has evolved and grown exponentially into multiple business segments with over 60,000 employees operating in more than 20 sectors.
As partners in Sterling and Wilson, they have become the largest solar Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) company in the world. They have achieved this in a very short period of time, only 8 years ago the company was mainly focussed on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering in India.
Sterling and Wilson now has global operations of diesel generation sets, gas power plants, waste to energy, turnkey data centers, and power transmission. In 2019, Sterling and Wilson executed a successful IPO of their solar EPC business.
The deep history, financial strength, excellent track record of successful IPO and logistical support of Sterling and Wilson and Shapoorji Pallonji will help SPBES become the leader in marine energy storage systems, with an eye toward future growth in grid connected energy storage.
